Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

We are now on paragraph 4 of chapter 4 in the Second Letter to the Orinthians from the book  Gospel of One; Letters of Aul (page 108).

Outwardly we are not different from other people. In fact, we are very ordinary looking people.  We don't go around performing dazzling miracles, and our bodies don't actually shine a light unless you can see our shining auras. And we may not have the super model bodies (although some of do), but we are anchored in God. God knows what we've all been through to get this far, and it hasn't been easy for most of us. In fact, some of us have been persecuted and prosecuted for proclaiming our oneness with God.  Many so-called Christians and Muslims have banished us from their company.  They think they are separate from God, and when we say that we are one with God, just as Jesus is, they call it blasphemy, heresy, or the lies of the devil.

Commentary: It is interesting how people who have the mentality of separateness can pass the judgement of blasphemy on people who proclaim the oneness of all life.

Hi Everyone, namaste:

We are now on paragraph 7 of chapter 10 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"If you think that you are separate from God and that Jesus, Buddha, and Krishna are incarnations of God who are vastly superior to you, then you are denying God within yourself and everyone else.  Do you really want to reduce yourself to less than you are?  Stand up for your true Self.  Penetrate the illusions of life by focusing on your true Self.  Meditate every day on you connection with God."

Commentary:  Jesus, Buddha, Krishna and other great religious leaders have been made into idols by many people. They are regarded so highly that nobody else can or should be expected to rise so high in the pantheon of heaven. But actually there have been many people who have lived exemplary lives; they just never got any publicity for it. God is the only one who really knows who knows.

We are now on paragraph 6 of chapter 10 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul." (page 88)

"I don't want to talk down to you.  You are as good as I am.  You know your situations better than I do.  When you realize that you are one with God you can see that God is the only doer.  When you identify with God, you want to do your best.  You move to transcend your ego-self, you begin to see that you are connected to all life.  You begin to see your larger Self everywhere. We don't reduce God to what we are; he raises us to what he/she is.  The God in us raises us up.  Jesus is the prime example for many people.  He was the man raised to Godhood.  You can do the same through the power of God within you.  Identify with God."

Commentary: One of the keys to rising above your ego is to realize that God is the only reality.

Hi Everyone; namaste:

We are now on paragraph 2 in Chapter 3 of the first letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."  (page 72):

"Who do you think Jesus is anyway? Or Buddha? Or Krishna?  Servant leaders, all of them.  All great spiritual leaders are actually your servants who wait on you until you gradually become Self-realized.  The seed of Self-realization is already within you, but they help you to nurture it and grow it into the beautiful flower and fruit of your real Self.  The God-Self within you is your real self.  The watering and care-taking from the outside are just menial tasks at minimum wage, but what makes them worth doing is the God we are serving.  You happen to be God's field in which we are working."

Commentary:  The great spiritual leaders that we know of have come to teach us about the meaning of life and how we need to live our lives in order to maximize our experiences on earth. They have come not to exalt themselves, but to serve other people out of their great love for God in everyone. Some of the followers of the great teachers may argue about which one is the greatest or truest, but the teachers themselves did not come for personal glory, and they don't want to be idols that get in the way of true God perception.  They can best be described as humble servants who want people to experience the bliss of God for themselves.

We are now on paragraph 8 in the first chapter of the Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul." (page 68)

"I ask you, does anyone have the whole truth? Has God written a book wherein all the eternal truths are revealed? Did Jesus appear to everyone on earth? Did Krishna come to the American Indians? Did Buddha walk the Roman roads? Did Mohammed live in an igloo with the inuits? Different teachers and masters have come according to specific needs, in specific areas, with specific people. Though they may have taught many universal truths, they still ministered according to what the people they were among needed and were ready for."

Commentary: No book, no teacher has given us the complete and final truth about life, but various teachers have given us many valid insights into the process of life. However, to say that one particular teacher has given the highest and best teaching would only be a personal opinion. Other people might have a different opinion, and to fight about it and feel personal animosity toward someone of a different opinion would only reveal a lack of assimilating the teachings of one of God's messengers.

We are now on paragraph 7 in the first chapter of the Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"To be more specific, some of Loey's family brought a most disturbing report to my attention. Namely that you are fighting amongst yourselves. I'll tell you exactly what I was told. You're picking sides, going around saying "I'm on the side of Jesus," or "I'm on the side of Buddha." or "Krishna is my main man," or "Muhammed is the true prophet."

Commentary: If a religionist thinks his or her religion's founder is the best of all, or that his or her religion is the best of all, it only shows that he or she is in delusion about the spiritual life. It is a dualistic thought to think that one religion is the best for everyone. Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, Muhammed, Confucius, Lao-Tzu and other true representatives of God all work together to help raise the consciousness of the people on earth. People who try to defend their own religion and promote it as the only or best religion on earth need to have their consciousness raised to the point where they can see the unity of life.

We are continuing our study with paragraphs 5 and 6 in the first chapter of the Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul." (p68).

"However, we are still learning how to behave. We are not perfect. Learn how to get along with everyone because everyone is part of God. Develop the community of the Holy Spirit of God.

I mention this because I heard through the rumor mills that some of you are not getting along well because of religious bias. Some of you are saying that Jesus is the only way, or Mohammed is the last true prophet, or Krishna is the true God, or Buddha knows the way to live."

Commentary: Religious bias is still very common in the world. The toleration level may be higher than ever, but still not many believers are willing to say that another man's religion is just as valid as his own. A believer in oneness sees the purpose of each religion and how it took hold and became popular, yet he knows no religion was meant to include everyone. He knows the true goal of a valid religion is to lead people back to the realization of oneness with God.

Hello Everyone, namaste:

We have finished going through the Letter to the Omans and are now starting the letter to the Orinthians in the book Gospel of One; Letters of Aul. (page 67). We start with paragraphs one and two.

"I, Aul, have been called and sent by my own mighty I Am presence according to my perceptions of what is true, righteous, and holy. I send my letter to you stalwart believers in the oneness of all life in Orinth, you who have cleaned yourselves up, shook yourselves free of the illusions, and now live freely in the love and glory of God. I include all in my greeting who call out to Jesus, Krishna, Buddha, and others of the Ascended Hosts for help in dealing with the problems of life.

May all the gifts that flow from God, the angels, and Ascended Hosts be yours."

Commentary: Everyone has the right to make their own conscious connection to God and then to live in that relationship. The wisdom that comes through may be shared with others. Jesus, Krishna, Buddha and other saints and sages have shared their love and wisdom that comes with their deep connection with God in oneness. We look to them for guidance. People who understand the oneness of life know that Jesus, Krishna and Buddha are one in Spirit, yet have their own individual ways of expressing truth.

Hello Everyone, namaste:

We are beginning chapter 15, paragraphs 1 and 2 of the "Letter to the Omans" from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul." ( Page 63).

"Some of us, of course, are very strong in our faith in the oneness of all life. We can set good examples and be ready to help anyone who asks for help. We can be ready to serve others whenever and wherever we are called. We don't just sit proudly where we are. Instead, we look for ways to be of service to others.

Let's take a lesson from Jesus and other great saints. They didn't cross the street to avoid other people's troubles. They were proactive in helping others, and they knew just what to do. There are plenty of verses in the scripture of the world that counsel us to do what we can to help others. Let's call upon God and the angels to help us see our opportunities to serve each other, then we will be in harmony with each other. We will be a magnificent choir--singing together enthusiastically. Singing to life, to love, to the God of all."

Commentary: Service to others is a cornerstone of most religions. The question though is what type of service is best. The answer to that question lies in whom we are trying to help. Motive in helping is also important. Seeing God in everyone is a good motive to help anyone. If we listen to our inner wisdom, we will know what to do.

We are starting on chapter 11, paragraph 1 in the Letter to the Omans from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul." (page 55)

"You might think that God is exasperated with the religionists who cling to the illusions of life and that he will have nothing more to do with them. Hardly, remember, God is everyone, even the people who are lost in the illusion. Even those people who say that they don't believe in God, are part of God. God has been involved with every one of us from the beginning. God will not wash his hands of anyone. How could she? God is everyone."

Commentary: Jesus took the religionists of his day to task, and we may perhaps look down on the self-righteous hypocrites such as the Pharisees were, but if we judge them as inferior or condemn them, then we fall into duality. A person living in oneness loves everyone as an expression of God. He or she sees God in everyone. Sooner or later God will shine through every one clearly.

We are continuing with chapter 9, paragraph 2 in the letter to the Omans, from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"I grew up with Christians, they're my immediate family. They had everything going for them--strong families, churches throughout the land, seminaries and theological schools, wonderful hymns, songs, poetry, excellent organizational skills, and of course they follow Jesus, a true avatar of God who is able to help anyone who calls on him. And yet so many Christians do not really know God. They think he has only communicated through one ancient book, and that he has only one son, and that God would send portions of himself to hell."

Commentary: Jesus could have said a lot of nice things about the pharisees, the sadducees, and the rest of the orthodox religious people of his time. I'm sure there were a lot of devout and good people who went along with the standard rabbinical teachings of the day. But Jesus saw that they were somewhat stuck in their limited beliefs. He challenged them to rethink their beliefs and to come up higher. The same type of situation exists today. Millions of orthodox Christians think they know the truth already and are satisfied with what they have. If Jesus came again to help move them higher, most people would resist and reject him, and not even recognize him because he would say things that differ from their doctrines.

We are continuing with chapter 8, paragraph 4 in the Letter to the Omans from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul:"

"If you allow your God Self to take up residence in your body temple, you can hardly be thinking more of yourself than of God. Of course anyone who hasn't welcomed the clearly present but invisible God into their lives won't know what we are talking about. But we who welcome and acknowledge God within us, even though we may experience the limitations of the body and are still affected by the illusion to various degrees, do make a lot of progress in the light. And, more than that, the living God of all can work miracles in your life and lift you up higher just as surely as he did for Jesus, Krishna, and other avatars. In fact your consciousness can become as fully alive and aware as Christ's or Krishna's."

Commentary: Well, that may be a long way to go to equal the consciousness of Jesus or Krishna, but we don't really need to compare in that way. Everyone has a unique contribution to make, and as we rise higher, it will seem natural to have an much expanded awareness in the consciousness of God.

We are continuing with Chapter 7, paragraph 7 in the Letter to the Omans, from the book Gospel of One; Letters of Aul.

"We have tried many remedies and therapies, and they all work to some extent, but the good effects don't seem to last. Is there something or someone who can truly help us live a God-free, God joyous life? I would like to say yes, Jesus can help you, or Buddha can help you, or Krishna can help you, or any of the spiritual masters, and they can help you if you let them. But that is the key, your own will power. A thousand Christs, a thousand Buddhas, a thousand Krishnas may come to help you, but unless you use your will power to affirm your own God-self, none can save you. We can help each other. We don't have to do it alone. The community of people who believe in the gospel of Oneness can help one another."

Commentary: Your will power is your savior because you must use your will power to do anything, including accepting help from other people. It may seem hard to rouse our will power sometimes. We can help each other do that.

Hello Everyone, namaste;

We are continuing with chapter 7, paragraph 4 in the letter to the Omans from the book Gospel of One; Letters of Aul.

"You might be asking, "Is the illusion all bad?" The answer is , "No." God created the physical universe, which is a reflection of the truth. The illusion is our field to play in. It is our stage for the drama of creation. Through us and every created thing God experiences life. Life cannot be experienced in unbroken oneness. The duality of life gives full scope to the infinite experiences of life. However, we do not need to be lost in this illusion. We can be in the world but not of it. We can play our roles in life in peace and harmony. It is the people who do not realize it is only a game who take life too seriously. There is no need to harm other people or creatures to live in this illusion of creation. We are here to manifest the love of God, the joy of God, and beauty of God."

Commentary: When we realize that we can look at this world as a stage, and that we are the actors creating our own roles, then we can see that we can change things. We can see that we have the power and ability to manifest the love of God. The illusions of life are only the props that give a backdrop to the story of infinite love.

We are continuing with chapter 6, paragraph 6 in the letter to the Omans from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"But mercy abounds! Now that we have discovered that we don't have to be lost in the illusions, and we have also discovered the delight in listening to God and angels giving us advice, we can truly stay in our freedom. We are healed and are whole again with limitless possibilities all around us. We worked hard for the illusions and all we got was disappointments in the end. But now, in the real life of God, we don't even think about retirement. We have life and more life in God.


Commentary: Nowadays you can work all of your life for the illusions, and you may not even get a gold watch. You may even lose your pension fund. However, for someone who is working in the oneness of God, there is no thought of retirement. We are always transcending ourselves. Always moving in the upward spiral of God. And we are always working with support from angels. We always have hopeful possibilities and potentials for greater awareness and satisfying activities for Self-expressions, that is, expressions of God in manifestation.
