Gospel of one; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone, namaste.

We are  now on paragraph 4 in the first chapter of the Second Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"Did you realize what an awful time we had in the Sia province? I didn't think we were going to live to tell about it.  We were on the edge of our existence here.  But we came through it by the grace of God, and now we have another survival tale to add to our collection.  I can't explain how or why God saves some , but not all.  I know he is not a puppet master, so it must have something to do about our own life plans.  Some people only come into this life for short term and a few specific purposes, then they exit.  I don't understand it all, but I know your prayers helped.  You visualized us coming through it safely and gave thanks to God for our safety.  If God protects us we are protected indeed!

Commentary:  The comings and goings of souls on earth is preplanned to some extent. Sometimes a short life is meant to balance out some karma in the far reaching justice of God.  Let's say an earthquake kills a thousand in a small town, but another thousand survive. Did God protect half the people and abandon the other half? The thousand that died were also loved and protected.  They did not really die, but they did make a transition to another realm of existence where they might be in better situations.  Most of us are not able to see beyond the veil. We don't really know how much time we will have on earth, but for the survivors they know that they still have reasons to be on earth.  Prayer helps for the over all love and care of souls, whether they survived the earthquake or not.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi everyone; namaste:

We are now on paragraph 3 in the first chapter of the Second Letter to the Orinthians in the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"Sometimes we may suffer for our beliefs.  I mean all of us, so we need to console each other and lift each other up.  That will make it easier for us to keep our minds steady and our hearts joyful during the temporary persecutions.  Mostly our lives are good and we know we can make it through the hard times.  God is with us no matter what comes, no doubt about that."

Commentary: Persecution for different religious and political beliefs has been a part of human history for a long time. .If facing persecution, then in order to stay in oneness, the ideal is to keep one's mind on the joy of God and to find support with fellow believers.  Do not strike back and thus get caught up in a dualistic struggle.
