Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone, namaste:

We are now moving on to the Second Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul." We start with paragraphs 1 and 2:

"I, Aul, have chosen this special mission, backed by my I am presence and holy Christ Self.  I write to God's congregation in Orinth and to believers everywhere.  May all gifts and benefits of God, the angels, and ascended host be yours.  Imothy, your good friend and mine, joins me in this greeting.

All praise to God, our prime creator, our Father and Mother, our very Self.  She is right with us, through the good times and the bad,  And we can reinforce that God presence by helping other people who may be going through hard times.  We've had our share of hard times, but we've had plenty of good times also. God is always with us no matter what comes."

Commentary:  These first two paragraphs set the tone for this letter.  We are part of God and always will be. The more we realize this the more benefits we will have. God can be related to as a Father or Mother or even as an impersonal Being.  And when we set the purposes of our lives, we can receive guidance from God, Christ, his angels and the Ascended Hosts of heaven.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi everyone; namaste:

We are now moving on to chapter 16 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."  We will cover all 4 of the short paragraphs of this chapter.

"Now, about that relief offering for the poor among you that is being collected.  That is good that you are sharing.  I encourage more of that.  The more we share, the more we actually have.

I plan to visit you in the coming year.  I won't be staying long.  Perhaps I will stay for two months during the winter season.

If Imothy shows up, take good care of him.  Make him feel at home.  He works hard at spreading the gospel of oneness.  Tell him I'm expecting him to join me soon.

I have other co-workers who may precede me to your town.You will know them by their good examples.  You will be inspired by them and aspire to be like them.  Look for people who proclaim the oneness of all life and honor God in all life.  Have your arms wide open for them just as God has his arms wide open for you.  I love all of you in the love of God."

Commentary:  It is very refreshing to hear strong,  upright people come and talk about the oneness of life. There is no preaching here about following one person to be saved.  There is no one book that you have to pledge allegiance to. There are no threats about being consigned to a hellish existence if you don't believe. The Gospel of Oneness is presented as a way to overcome the delusions of life, and to love everyone and to treat them as part of your greater Self. The Gospel of Oneness only asks you to remember your oneness with God.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi everyone; namaste:

We are now on paragraphs 9 and 10 in chapter 15 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."  (page 100)

"We naturally want to live to experience life, to carry out our missions, to accomplish great things, to create something wonderful, and then, in the fullness of time, make the transition to another realm.  If you can leave your body consciously, as some masters have done, that would be the ideal way to go.  It is ignorance that makes death so frightening, so enlighten yourself about it.

With all this knowledge and wisdom going for you, my friends, stand tall and move forward into a new era of enlightenment."

Commentary: The ideal way to leave this plane of existence is to die consciously and with the knowledge of your continuous existence.  In order to do that we need to get very close to God and to realize that we are part of God.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi everyone; namaste;

We are now on paragraphs 7 and 8 in the 15th chapter of The First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Leters of Aul."  (page 99)

"If you can't hear it amidst the busyness of everyday life, retreat to a silent place and tune in with it by breathing mindfully and gently looking upward.  You will feel more peaceful, and just as cream rises to the top, so will the words of God.

The living word of God will show you that life goes on forever, ever changing, ever growing.  Our bodies are always changing.  Some day they will perish, but our consciousness will continue in other bodies.  Death of one body means a transition to another body in a different dimension beyond our earthly sight.  Of course no one wants to die just to find that out, yet many have returned from temporary death, and some have given detailed testimony about what they experienced

Commentary:  The number of books written about experiences in a temporarily "dead" condition continues to grow every year. The stories are truly amazing. Discernment is necessary in reading them, but they do show that something profound is going on. There are also many stories from people who didn't die, but they went into deep meditative states and experienced life in other realms.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone; namaste:

We are now on paragraph 6 of chapter 15 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"Some skeptic is sure to ask about how reincarnation works and why we can't remember our past lives.  Some people can remember parts of past lives, and masters such as Krishna, Jesus, and Buddha can remember them all, but they can handle the knowledge of them.  Every lifetime is a new opportunity for us.  Remembrance of past lives would be too confusing for most of us. Some Christians will not accept the truth of reincarnation because it is not explicitly mentioned in the Bible.  But it was taken out or not included on purpose by a council of men.  The scriptures  are not the final word on this subject.  I recommend that you listen to the true word of God that comes to everyone in every moment.  This holy word of God is available anywhere, anytime.  It is the living word of God.  You will know it by it's vibrant, enthusiastic love for everyone."

Commentary: Since reincarnation is not explicitly mentioned in the Bible, most Christians will dismiss it without giving it deep thought..  However, most people in the world do think that reincarnation is either true or quite possibly be the truth, but no one can prove it in the acceptable scientific experiments that we can do now. So a rational argument about it always comes up inconclusive. That's why the recommendation is to go deeply within and try to hear God's truth on the subject.  Of course some people are not willing or capable of concentrating that deeply.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi everyone; namaste:

We are now on paragraph 5 of chapter 15 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"There is another question that is bothering many of you, especially you Christians.  Are we resurrected as we were in this life or do we become someone greater than we are or were.  Or, if reincarnation is true and all lives are actually happening in the eternal now, who are we really?  So let me put this is simple terms.  You are not your bodies.  Your soul identity is who you are, and your soul identity is one expression of God.  You have had many incarnations in this physical world, played many different roles, had many different bodies, but your soul-identity is the real you.  So when we talk about resurrection we're not talking about the resurrection of any particular body or personality you may have had in the past.  We are talking about the resurrection of your consciousness  Your consciousness has been evolving over the eons of what we call time.  We have been slowly resurrecting ourselves during  this process of evolving back to realizing our full oneness with God.  You are not stuck with your present personality.  Who you are is much greater than who you appear to be in this lifetime.  But you may use this lifetime to realize your oneness with God."

Commentary: Your present personality is like the tip of an iceberg.  We are so much more than what we appear to be in these lifetimes. If we were fully alive we would be more like Jesus and other great Self-masters. To have the consciousness of Christ is to have a vast, universal understanding and ability to work with the creation of  God.  And the Bible tells us to put on the mind of Christ.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi everyone, namaste,

We are now on paragraph 4 in the 15th chapter of the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"Some of you have thought of yourselves as sinners, unworthy to be in the company of God.  But the past is behind you.  All people, including me, have done stupid and ignorant things, even cruel and barbaric things  maybe.  Yet it is all forgiven and seen as the process of life evolving.  Claim your connection with God now.  Realize that your God-nature is love, kindness, beauty, wisdom, harmony, and all that we consider the highest and best."

Commentary:  When we identify with our God-selves, we will make less mistakes than we did before, but we need to be careful lest the old ego creeps back in through spiritual pride.

Gospel of one; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone; namaste;

We are now on paragraph 3 in the 15th chapter of the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"We as individuals can call on God, the Whole Spirit, to help us in everything, in every way.  God is personal as well as impersonal. He is the detached observer as well as your very self, experiencing everything as you. God is you. You are a part of God.  Is that clear?

Commentary:  If this isn't clear, it is the ego that tries to keep you separated from God.  Be still and know that God is the only reality.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone; namaste;

We are now moving on to chapter 15, paragraphs 1 and 2 in the  First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"Friends, let me review this gospel of oneness with you one more time.  You took this message to heart the first time I proclaimed it to you, then some of you fell back into the illusions of life.  But I'm assuming that most of you are sincere and that you are in this for good and are living this truth.

The first concept to realize is that God, the Father-Mother Spirit  is the only reality.  God-Spirit alone is real.  All of created matter and energy is the consciousness of God. With his supreme consciousness he has spun the infinite varieties of life.  God the Spirit knows and sees everything.  God's consciousness in creation is experiencing life.  As human beings we are the identities of God who are capable of realizing ourselves as part of God.  Animals, plants, minerals, and everything else in creation will also evolve into Self-realized consciousness.  This creation is the way God uses to experience life."

Commentary: If everything is within the consciousness of God, how else can it be?

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone, namaste;

We are now on paragraph 7 of chapter 14 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."  (page 97)

"One more thing, let me make it clear about the equality of men and women and of all racial groups.  God is equally present in everyone, so how can anyone say one gender or race is inherently better or should be more privileged than any other?"

Commentary: This seems obvious to people who are living in oneness, but since so many  people are still lost in separation, we need to keep saying this. A soul can incarnate as a man one time, a woman the next time, and of a different race or nationality each time.  A soul is gathering experience in every role. Perhaps the key is to see everyone as a soul  of God who is just wearing an outer disguise, whatever it may be.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi everyone; namaste

We are now on paragraphs 5 and 6 of chapter 14 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"I'm grateful to God that we can each go within and contact God and have wonderful experiences.  Then when we assemble together in common praise and worship services, we can share our joys with one another.

And then when people who don't remember their oneness with God come amongst us, we can tell them in plain language.  We need to watch out for assuming they understand our jargon and short cut ways of explaining things.  Let's always be considerate and courteous to all people who may not agree with us."

Commentary: Something that may be very obvious to us may still be hidden or doubtful to others. The oneness of life is very plain to us, but the illusion of separation is what most people are still lost in, so the truth of oneness needs to be demonstrated and explained every day.

Gospel of One; letters of Aul

Hi Everyone, namaste;

We are now on paragraph 4 in chapter 14 of the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One Letters of Aul."

"Pray for the insight and ability to do this and be thankful that you do have the ability.  Of course you need your quiet time to go within.  In fact you must go within on a regular basis to keep in contact with your own God presence.  Enjoy the bliss of God contact within and carry that into your every day activities."

Commentary:  Everyday contact with God, in a concentrated way, is recommended by all saints.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone, namaste;

We are now on paragraph 3 in chapter 14 of the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"So I encourage you to speak up for the oneness of life. People need to hear this message over and over again.  If you are really eager to participate in this great evangelical movement, why don't you concentrate on living this gospel of oneness with your lives and proclaiming it with your tongues in straightforward manner."

Commentary:  The illusion of duality is so strong that we need to remind each other that the unity of God is the only reality. We need to have compassion on one another and realize that we are living in the illusion of separateness.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi everyone; namaste:

We are now moving on to chapter 14, paragraphs one and two, in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"Love abundantly. It will come back to you.  Develop your talents in God.  Proclaim the truth of God.  If you praise God in silence or in tongues, that is fine for yourself, but when you proclaim the truth in everyday speech, you will be reminding others of the truth so they can develop their own strong faith.

Consider this my friends. If I withdraw from the world and keep my knowledge to myself, what will you get out of it? If I don't share my insights, or truths, or teachings, what help am I to you? If I play music so that each note isn't distinct and in tune, how will anyone recognize the song and enjoy the music?  If the date and time aren't clearly printed, will anyone come to the show?"

Commentary:  We are talking about honest, heart-felt  communication.  This isn't about persuading people to any point of view, nor is it about being superior in knowledge. It's about helping one another grow in realization of what the truth might be. Nobody has a corner on knowledge so it isn't about defending any particular viewpoint.  It is a mutual search for truth minus the ego involvement of having to be right.

Gospel of One, Letters of Aul

Hi everyone, namaste:

We are now on the 4th paragraph of chapter 13 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul." (page 94)

"When I was a little child I played happily with my toys, but I gradually lost interest in them and tried to find out about the mysteries of life. However, it's been like peering through pea-soup fog, but it won't be long before the fog lifts and the sun shines in freely.  We will know our connection with God.  We will realize our oneness with God.  Until that bright day we have three things to do that will take us there:  Trust always in the goodness of God, keep your hopes up, and love with all your might.  And the heart of the three is love.

Commentary:  This illusion is like a pea-soup fog in some ways.  Everything seems to be separate, and there is a lot of death and destruction.  Life seems to be tenuous--here today and gone tomorrow.  How can we make sense of it? Love and faith is what will see us through.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi everyone; namaste;

We are now on the second and third paragraphs of chapter 13 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"Love always continues.  Love cares more for others than for self.  Love rejoices in what others have.  Love is humble. Love lets others have their say.  Love lets others go first.  Loves gives freedom to others.  Love takes pleasure in truth.  Love trusts God always.  Love always looks for the best in others.  Love has its eyes on the perfect image.  Love cares deeply for all.  Love always forgives and gives another chance, yet love can be tough while being tender.  Love uses wisdom and discernment."

"Love goes on forever.  Everything else will change and go through cycles.  Whole planets, stars, galaxies will come and go in the eons of time, yet love will endure.  And love will be ever new."

Commentary.  It just makes sense doesn't it.  If the Creator God isn't all love, what is the use?  We just don't understand how it all works out, but Love gives us our freedom, and with that freedom comes all of our choices in life,  good and evil.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone, namaste:

We are now on the first paragraph of chapter 13 in the First Letter to the Orinthians in the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"Love is at the heart of everything we do.  If I speak with flowing eloquence like a silver-tongued orator, but don't love, I might as well be croaking like a frog.  If I speak with inspiration and power, leaving people awestruck, and I I have the faith that can move mountains, yet lack love, I'm merely a leaf in the wind.  If I give all my possessions to the poor, and even sacrifice my life for a just cause, yet do it without love, I've gotten nowhere.  No matter what I say, or do , or believe, it is vastly incomplete without love."

Commentary. If the ego takes credit for everything. even giving love. it's probably not real love.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone, namaste;

We are now on paragraphs 8 and 9 in the 12th chapter of the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"The way God designed our bodies is a model for how we should all work together.  Every part has a function, and if one part is in pain, then the whole body feels it, and the whole body works to  heal that pain.  When the body is healthy, all parts feel good.

You are the body of God--that's who you are.  Always remember that.  Accept your part and be yourself.  Uncover your talents, multiply your talents. Rejoice in God.  You don't need to be stuck in one role.  You don't have to do the same job all the time.  You all have unique personalities, and you are known by your personalities; so your identity isn't locked up in being a carpenter, or a plumber, or a lawyer."

Commentary: The analogy with the body breaks down when you consider that our roles are not fixed. An eye can't change to be the ear, but humans can play a lot of different roles.  Nevertheless, we are all parts of the same collective consciousness, and we are all part of the oneness of God

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone; namaste:

We are now on paragraphs 5-7 in chapter 12 of the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."  (page 93)

"Think abut how all this makes you more significant, not less.  It takes all the different parts of a body to make it work.  If the foot said, "I'm not elegant like a hand adorned with bejeweled rings.  I might as well run away."  Or if the ears said, "I'm not as expressive as the eyes, I might as well close up shop."

Just so with our body of humanity. Everyone has a purpose.  Everyone is special.  Some may seem more special, but don't you believe it.  We believe in the dignity of the individual.

I remind you that no one should regard themselves as better or more important than anyone else.  We all have that tendency to think we are  more important than others, so we need to be on guard about that.  The eyes are necessary, but we wouldn't want to be just a big eyeball.

Commentary:  Whatever your role or position is in this life, don't you think that your role has been important to someone else? And this one lifetime is just one link in the chain of your lives.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul.

Hi Everyone; namaste;

We are now on paragraph 4 of  chapter 12 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"Think of the comparison to your own bodies, which have many parts--arms, ears, nose, muscles, tendons, the various organs, and so on. Your body functions as one unit; all the parts work together.  We don't know how our bodies were put together so wondrously, but God knows, and we know a harmonious body is a healthy body. Just so with all life on earth.  We don't know how it all came about, but we know that if we work together harmoniously with love for all life, then we have a healthy and happy planet."

Commentary: When the people of the world realize that we are one in Spirit, then we will have peace on this planet.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi everyone; namaste:

We are now on the third paragraph of chapter 12  in the First Letter to the Orinthians in the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"So let's apply our intelligence and intuition on this topic of how God's spirit works in our lives.  Everyone shares in the totality of God, yet in any one lifetime, we may excel in only certain areas.  We are all different, we're all individuals, yet we are all one in spirit..  Some may excel in music, some in healing powers, some in artistry, some in managing, some in athletics, some in mechanical ability, some in communicating effectively, some in public speaking. God doesn't  favor one person over another.  In this lifetime some people may be highly skilled, while others may be handicapped.  Some may be rich and talented and others may be poor and fit only for menial labor. But we don't judge anyone.  Everyone has incarnated for specific purposes, and we don't know what those purposes are, but the soul knows."

Commentary: The high and the mighty are valued as much as the low and down-trodden.  One lifetime is just one link in the chain of a soul's progress.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone; namaste:

We are now on paragraph 2 of chapter 12 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."  (p 92)

" However, it is different in this life of oneness.  God wants us to use our reasoning power and our intuition to see through the illusions.  For example, why would God, who has everything, require you to sacrifice an animal? That makes no sense.  Or, why would God, who created you and loves you, send you to hell after one lifetime spent in ignorance or for being in the wrong religion?

Commentary: Traditions carry a lot of weight, and people will keep on following some traditions that got started in the dark ages.  People will hold onto superstitious beliefs for a long time.  However, we are free in God to question everything. Pure reasoning can free us from many superstitions and false beliefs, and a well-developed intuitions can help us move deeper into the truths of life.

gospel of one; letters of aul

Hi Everyone; namaste;

We are moving on to chapter 12 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."  Here is the first paragraph:

That leads me to my next topic about the various ways to weave Godliness into our lives.  This is a confusing topic to many people, but perhaps I can explain it clearly to you.  Remember how you were when you were totally lost in the illusion? You went from one phony god to another, just following the crowd or the culture you were raised in and not really investigating the deeper truths of life.

Commentary: Most people will follow the religion of their culture.  Socially speaking, it is just very hard to break away from family and friends to follow a different religion, so many people will not even consider the possibilities.  Life after life they will follow the crowd.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone, namaste:

We are now on paragraphs 12-15 in chapter 11 of the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"There is no question about you being saved.  Everyone is saved because everyone is a part of God.  The question is what are you going to co-create with life.  That is, with God, other sentient beings and with nature.

The word of God is not contained in any one book or any book in its fullness.  The word of God comes to everyone, every day, every moment.  We just need to hear it.

What you do for or to others, you do for or to yourself because there is only one of us.

When you come together my friends, go over these fundamental truths and talk about how you can realize them and use them everyday.

Commentary:  Some people take exception to the idea of universal salvation  They say that the justice of God demands some sort of punishment, but most such people don't believe in or understand re-incarnation.  We all reap what we sow, sooner or later, but it's all part of the learning process.  Some people who do understand reincarnation say a soul only gets a finite number of chances to come back to God, and if totally incorrigible, is reabsorbed back into the universal energy.  The question we really need to answer is:  What are we going to co-create with the love and beauty and wisdom of God?

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone; namaste:

We are now on paragraphs 8-11 in the 11th chapter of the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book, "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"God's love is shown by giving us freedom. We are free to create and express ourselves without God pulling any puppet strings on us.

Since we are God-free beings, we take responsibility for our own creations.  We don't always get what we pray for, but we always get what we co-create with life.

If we have enough love, we will overcome fear.

This created universe is a place of polarity and constant change.  It is a place to realize who you are and to create yourself and your environment in the highest and best version you can conceive of."

Commentary:  This is what freedom means.  We write our own stories.  We make them up as we go along in the flow of life. You can realize it's a story or not, it's up to you, just know that you are beyond the story.

Gospel of One, Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone; namaste:

We are now on paragraphs 4 - 7 in chapter 11 of the first Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"God doesn't need anything from you.  God is self-sufficient.  He doesn't need your sacrifices, your obedience, or your praises or worship.  You can praise, obey, worship and sacrifice for God if that's your free choice.

God doesn't punish anyone.  However, he has set up the governing laws of the universe.  What we send out comes back to us.

God is eternal.  Since we are part of God, we are eternal.  Life is eternal.  God doesn't condemn any part of himself to eternal hell.

The nature of God is unconditional love.  Unconditional means no conditions.  Think about that."

Commentary:  Okay, let's think about that.  If there are no conditions whatsoever, that means that whatever we do or don't do, whatever we feel or think, will not diminish the love of God for us. If we can't love ourselves  sometimes, or other people because of what they've done, we can know that the love of God is as strong and steady as ever.

gospel of one; letters of aul

Hi Everyone, namaste:

We are now on paragraph 3 in chapter 11 of the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"I want to repeat some points. Repetition of fundamental truth is recommended for you because you have strayed from the truth so easily. You have grown up believing the illusions of life.  They have a strong hold on you. So  think about the fundamental truths over and over until they are absorbed in every cell and atom in your bodies.  Here are some to think about:"

Commentary:  The illusion of life are so strong that they carry everyone along with them.  Everything seems to be separate and competitive.  The unity of life is also plain to see, but our world has emphasized competition for the most part. For those who want to live in the oneness of life, daily awareness is necessary.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone; namaste:

We are now on paragraph 2 of chapter 11 in the first letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"The next item on the list is something I'm really sorry to hear about.  I'm disappointed to hear that some of your meetings are divisive.  Instead of supporting and cooperating with each other, you are competing with and criticizing each other.  It's hard for me to believe this report, but then I know the illusions are strong and old habits are hard to break.  The best that can be said about it is that at least problems are being brought out into the open.  You are holding up mirrors unto yourselves.  That is good if you want to change yourselves.  You can see what you don't like about yourselves.  Then you can develop a positive vision for who you want to be.

Commentary:  Interpersonal conflict in groups is quite common among people with a dualistic outlook on life, but if you have a group of people who are trying to realize their oneness with all life, you might think there would be more harmony.  The mirror is being held up at all times, so a group will be able to judge their own progress by taking an objective look at what is going on.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone, namaste;

We are now starting on paragraph one of chapter 11 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book, "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"I'm glad that most of you continue to grow in the faith, but there are still some questions about marriage relationships. This is understandable since marriage is our primary human relationship.  The problem lies in the question of authority. Since men are usually bigger, stronger, and more aggressive, you think man is the natural authority.  But women may be more intuitive, thoughtful, and discerning.  But why does one have to be the leader? Marriage is a partnership.  Let's throw out the old idea that one gender is superior to another.  Men and women are different aspects of God.  Long live the difference! We learn from each other, that's for sure. And in past lives we have all experienced life as men and women.  Let's put this issue of superiority behind us.  No one is superior or inferior--just different.  In some cases there are clear leaders and ones who take final responsibility, but that doesn't indicate soul  superiority. We don't know the soul's purpose in the lives of others.  A person may incarnate as a weak-willed individual for one life time, and then come back strong in the next life time."

Commentary:  A balanced religion and a balanced society would recognize the basic soul equality of men and women.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone, namaste:

We are now on paragraphs 10 and 11 of chapter 10 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul." (page 88)

"With love as a foundation to work from, common sense, common decency, and common courtesy can take you a long way in living harmoniously with everyone, even with those who don't believe the way you do.

Cultivate you own God-connection and let other people do the same.  Live your life with a big heart, be magnanimous and generous just as God is.  Be grateful for the gift of life and live well.  There's no need to walk around in fear and paranoia.  Life loves you. Love life. You are free, free in your God-self."

Commentary:  As God is life, Life really does love us. Life is also a mirror. It reflects back to us what we send out.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone, namaste:

We are now on paragraph 9 of chapter 10 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"So some of you may take your divinity the wrong way and think that since you are God, anything goes.  You can make up your own rules and do anything you want to. That would be your ego-self talking.  The God within you is love, and love does the best for each and everyone and all."

Commentary: We are part of God, and so we are divine, but while on earth we often get lost in delusion and misled by our egos. Divine love gives us a standard to live by so that God can express through us.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone, namaste:

We are now on the 8th paragraph of chapter 10 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"God is experiencing the diversity of his marvelous creation by actually being in it.  The consciousness of God is within everything there is.  Think about it.  Scientists cannot find the smallest particle of matter.  Particles become waves and then vibrating strings until matter disappears into pure consciousness, undetectable by any scientific instruments."

Commentary: God's consciousness is the nature of the universe.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone, namaste:

We are now on paragraph 7 of chapter 10 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"If you think that you are separate from God and that Jesus, Buddha, and Krishna are incarnations of God who are vastly superior to you, then you are denying God within yourself and everyone else.  Do you really want to reduce yourself to less than you are?  Stand up for your true Self.  Penetrate the illusions of life by focusing on your true Self.  Meditate every day on you connection with God."

Commentary:  Jesus, Buddha, Krishna and other great religious leaders have been made into idols by many people. They are regarded so highly that nobody else can or should be expected to rise so high in the pantheon of heaven. But actually there have been many people who have lived exemplary lives; they just never got any publicity for it. God is the only one who really knows who knows.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone; namaste:

We are now on paragraph 6 of chapter 10 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul." (page 88)

"I don't want to talk down to you.  You are as good as I am.  You know your situations better than I do.  When you realize that you are one with God you can see that God is the only doer.  When you identify with God, you want to do your best.  You move to transcend your ego-self, you begin to see that you are connected to all life.  You begin to see your larger Self everywhere. We don't reduce God to what we are; he raises us to what he/she is.  The God in us raises us up.  Jesus is the prime example for many people.  He was the man raised to Godhood.  You can do the same through the power of God within you.  Identify with God."

Commentary: One of the keys to rising above your ego is to realize that God is the only reality.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone; namaste:

We are now on paragraph 5 of chapter 10 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond your inner God-power to handle.  God knows what your current position is, but we don't always realize how far we can stretch.  Remember, we can call on the angels to help us bear crushing loads.  Every condition or situation is temporary, and death is a portal to a new situation.  God is always with you, for God is you, and God is eternal, so in the long run there is nothing to worry about.  Ah, I know, it's the short term worries that really get us."

Commentary: God is with everyone, but if you look at the history of the world, everyone has to die sooner or later, and everyone goes through difficult experiences, some much more so than others, so what comfort is it, one may ask, to say that God is with us? Because You are always alive in spirit and cannot be injured in your essence. These forms and experiences that we have in this material world are all passing shows of light and shadow. They may seem very real right now, but in a hundred years from now a new set of players will be on stage, and we will have moved on to other stages. When we gain our ascension into the realms of oneness, we will leave suffering and sorrow behind.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hello Everyone; namaste;

We are now on paragraph 4 of chapter 10 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"These are just warning markers for us along the way.  We can learn from the mistakes of others as well as our own.  We don't want to become over-confident.  We're not exempt from falling down again. Forget about confidence in your ego-self. Cultivate God-confidence.

Commentary:  As we move up on the spiritual path we can never get complacent and think we now understand everything and can just coast along in a false confidence  Ever the high and mighty can fall down again, and that happens when the ego slips back into control.  So let us all remember that God is the only reality..

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi everyone; namaste;

We are now on paragraph 3 on chapter 10 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"And we need to be on guard about not manipulating God. This can be a very subtle issue, and sometimes we can do it without realizing we are trying to do it.  We can never manipulate God of course, but sometimes we may put words into his mouth, such as "God really wants me to eat these cookies," to give a childish example.  But to give you a more serious one, how about, "God really wants us to go to war against those wicked people."  Or, "God is going to punish you for your wicked actions."  We don't want to fall into this way of thinking--that God is for or against anyone.  God is for everyone.

Commentary:  A lot of people do put words into God's mouth and they can be quite convinced that God actually said those words to them. How do you discern if the words came from God? Ineffable love for everyone and supreme wisdom will shine through.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone, namaste:

We are now on paragraph 2 of chapter 10 in the first Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One, Letters of Aul." (page 87)

"Can we stop repeating history? We need to be on guard so that we don't get lost in the outer show of life:  And we must not turn our beliefs into a circus of outer miracles and brazen entertainment.  It's great to sing and dance in the joy of the Lord, but when it just becomes an outer show to entertain people, it doesn't benefit us in any deep way."

Commentary:  The inner connection to God is the most important. There are many good and fun outer activities in life, but they may not be fully satisfying if there is no inner connection with God and the deeper truths of life.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone, namaste:

We are now moving on to paragraph 1 of chapter 10 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."

"Think deeply about our history friends, and be warned by past mistakes.  We've been in very comfortable places before.  We were were well fed and taken care of.  We thought we were on the high road to victory, but then we started taking it all for granted.  We became too outward looking and neglected to cultivate our inner connection with God.  Then when the hard outer times came we were not prepared, and many of us fell by the wayside.  I'm talking about past incarnations here."

Commentary:  If life becomes too easy then people may have the tendency to not look within for inner strength.  Still, the goal is to move beyond dualistic experiences and live in the oneness of God and be beyond the struggles of this earth, and by then you will have all the inner strength that you need and you won't take anything for granted. You will know what to do.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi Everyone; namaste:

We are now on paragraphs 5 and 6 of chapter 9 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul."  (page 86)

"Think of the athletes who train hard to win the glory of finishing first. The losers are forgotten and even the trophies and names of the winners fade into distant memories.  But establish your identity in God and you will know that you have eternal glory and ever-new joy.

I can't speak for you who are reading this, but I'm running hard for the finish line.  I'm flowing with energy and my mind is alert.  No kicking back for me.  You won't catch me napping and falling off the pace.  I may still have some weak moments, but they are fewer and further between."

Commentary:  Acceleration is the key. Once you are firmly on the path to Self-realization you will find that the closer you come to the goal, the faster you go. You are being pulled into the orbit of God.  The comparison to athletes stops here because athletes usually tire out at the end of the game or contest, but a person on the path back to God gets more and more energy and does even better.

Gospel of One; Letters of Aul

Hi everyone; namaste:

We are now on paragraph 4 of chapter 9 in the First Letter to the Orinthians from the book "Gospel of One; Letters of Aul." (page 86)

"Even though I have the freedom to do as I please, I have a schedule of voluntary commitments to come and present this message in person to a whole range of people.  I will talk to all religions and scientific groups about the oneness of life.  I will talk with the down and out as well as the high and mighty.  I can feel empathy with anyone, anywhere because God is everyone.  If I keep my awareness on God, I can accomplish more than I ever thought I could as a weak person separated from God.  So I don't want to just talk about the wonderful gospel, I intend to be the message."

Commentary: When you know that you are one with all life in God, then you will feel kinship with all life.
